How To Make Furniture Wax Easier To Work With

If you hate spending energy and time on applying and buffing wax, come learn our one simple trick that we promise will make it easier and quicker! 0 In this video tutorial company co-founder, Rosanne will show you her simple trick for making our all-natural wax easier to use! How to Wax Furniture: Making Wax Easier to Work With | Country Chic Paint Clear Wax

Step 1) Start with a painted piece

Apply any color of Country Chic Paint to your piece and distress as desired. Make sure you let it cure for at least 24 hours before moving on to the next step.

Step 2) Scoop out some wax

Since our wax is made with 100% all-natural ingredients and no chemicals, it is a bit harder than some other waxes you may have used in the past. This means it can sometimes require a bit of elbow grease when you're applying and buffing it. Luckily, we have a simple trick to help!

Start by scooping out a small amount of wax from your jar onto a microwave safe dish. You won't need much; you'll be surprised how far it goes!

Step 3) Microwave for 5-10 seconds

Every microwave is slightly different and this will also depend on how much wax you're using, but we recommend starting with just 5 seconds. You don't want the wax to completely melt, you just want to soften it.

Step 4) Apply the wax

Use a wax brush or a lint-free rag to apply a thin coat of wax over your entire piece.

Step 5) Buff it dry

With a lint-free rag, you can immediately start buffing the wax dry using circular motions. Keep buffing until it feels smooth and dry.
