Step 1) Paint with Country Chic Paint

The safety of you and your families is of the utmost importance to us. That’s why we’ve had our All-in-One Decor Paint independently tested to the highest standards to ensure we are ultra low VOC – something other companies only claim! By using Country Chic Paint, you can rest assured you’re using a product that won’t harm your little ones’ health. You can learn all about VOCs, their effects, and view our test results right here.

Don't forget to follow our surface prep guidelines and tips for getting a nice, smooth paint finish.

Step 2) Add special effects, if desired

This part is completely optional, but if you'd like to add depth and dimension with glaze, extra glam with metallic cream, or maybe just some classic distressing, now's the time to do it! If you prefer the simple, classically clean painted finish, try this technique to get a buttery smooth, modern finish.

Step 3) Choose a safe, natural sealant

At Country Chic Paint, we carry two 100% natural sealants that are safe to use around children; Hemp Oil and Clear Wax. They will add a light layer of protection as well as a buttery smooth feel to your furniture. For more information on each of these products including instructions on how to apply them, click here for Hemp Oil or here for Clear Wax. That's all there is to it! Now you can let your little ones play, knowing their furniture and toys are not only beautiful again, but completely safe.
